Set Up Your Email Client for SiteArcade Email

Email Inbox & Forwarding

While SiteArcade offers free email accounts, we don’t (currently) provide an app to access your author email. On the other hand, we do allow you to login using a wide variety of email clients.

Here are some of our top recommendations:

General Instructions

Username

No matter what client you use, your username will be your complete email address. So if your email address is tk@tkstandin.com, your username will also be tk@tkstandin.com.

Password

Your email password will always be the password you chose on the Email Settings page in the SiteArcade editor. It will not be your SiteArcade login password unless you specifically made them the same.

Server Settings

Most modern email clients will automatically detect much the following info. We’ve included it in case you run into problems getting set up.

SMTP Settings

Email is sent using the SMTP protocol. Use the following values:

  • SMTP Server: mail.gandi.net
  • Port: 587
  • Protocol: START/TLS
  • Authentication: Yes

IMAP Settings

Modern email is received using the IMAP protocol. Use IMAP instead of POP3 whenever possible.

  • IMAP Server: mail.gandi.net
  • Port: 993
  • Protocol: TLS or SSL
  • Authentication: Yes

POP3 Settings

Old-school email is received using the POP3 protocol. Only use POP3 if your client doesn’t support IMAP.

  • POP3 Server: mail.gandi.net
  • Port: 995
  • Protocol: TLS or SSL
  • Authentication: Yes
